DevSecOps / Configuration Management Specialist

Job Summary
Define and execute configuration management processes and procedures for pre-production efforts in a cloud-hosted context. Manage builds across development, test, and integration environments while implementing infrastructure as code and automated configuration deployments. Provide baseline control for software and hardware elements, review engineering change requests, and prepare directives for change authorization. Integrate security automation, manage artifact repositories, and support container orchestration within the CI/CD pipeline. Develop SE artifacts, training materials, and documentation to ensure accurate product baselines. Facilitate configuration control governance bodies and lead a team of specialists.
Required Qualifications
- Ten (10) years relevant experience
- Substantial experience in both DevSecOps and configuration management within a cloud environment
- Demonstrated ability to define and execute configuration management processes and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute builds
- Experience leading or supervising a team of configuration management specialists
- Experience with configuration management and IaC tooling (e.g., TFS, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, OpenShift)
- Extensive experience working highly complex IT systems
- Resume must demonstrate experience working legacy system upgrades, modernization, legacy system transition, data migration and/or system analysis and design
- Experience performing functional and technical solutions decomposition that enables solutions analysis and design
- Experience implementing solutions with respect to modern database design and modern software languages within the federal Government, specifically within the DoD
- Secret clearance
- IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3) at time of proposal submission
- Travel to on-site meetings in Columbus, OH (Onsite once per month (average) up to 3 days.)
Desired Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent additional relevant experience
- AI/ML experience
