DevSecOps and API management Platform Leader

Job Summary
Lead DevSecOps and API platform initiatives across an international organization by defining and driving a platform strategy that delivers secure, automated CI/CD pipelines and scalable API platforms. Govern API lifecycle (versioning, throttling, analytics) and embed security by design throughout the development lifecycle. Accelerate cloud-native transformations with infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration while guiding engineers and specialists toward automation, ownership, and innovation. Expect collaboration across teams and countries, with leadership shaping platform capabilities, tool exploration, and strong execution that ties business value to secure delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management
- 3+ years in a leadership role
- Design and run CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD
- Fluent with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM; apply GitOps and policy-as-code
- Integrate security into development (code scanning, container security, secrets management)
- Experience managing API platforms (Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, MuleSoft)
- Understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS) and governance
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, GCP; Docker, Kubernetes, service meshes
- Observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic)
- Strategic thinking; cross-team communication
- Certifications such as CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or API platform certifications
