Job Summary
DevRel Engineer (Latam) at dotCMS — a contractor full-time remote role combining developer relations, technical content creation, and community support. Build working examples against headless SDKs, AI capabilities, and APIs; turn them into tutorials, demos, and developer content; maintain a strong public presence on GitHub, LinkedIn, and developer forums; create content across core areas (headless/visual editing, AI-driven workflows, and search); coordinate events, webinars, and community engagements; grow the dotCMS developer community and align documentation with platform updates; collaborate with Engineering, Design, Product, and Marketing to deliver developer-focused content and drive community growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3-4 years hands-on frontend JavaScript experience (React, Angular, or Next.js)
- Experience creating technical content (docs, blogs, tutorials, videos)
- Comfortable building against REST/GraphQL APIs and SDK integration
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a field related to the role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active GitHub profile or evidenced community involvement
- Willingness to work remotely from any location compatible with US business hours
- Ability to speak publicly or on camera (livestreams, webinars, etc.)
