DevOps System Administrator I — Associate

Job Summary

Conduct production support for mission-critical systems across unclassified and classified environments, performing system analysis, troubleshooting, and resolving errors through diagnostics and impact assessment. Manage and deploy patches on Windows and Linux servers while overseeing cloud deployment and CI/CD pipelines within the AWS ecosystem. Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability, security, and performance, alongside continuous testing and documentation maintenance. Assist in implementing a DevOps culture and managing infrastructure for multiple disconnected networks. Requires an active security clearance, five years of federal government experience, and IAT Level I certification. Salary ranges from $165,000 to $185,000 annually.

Required Qualifications

  • An active security clearance with polygraph
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) additional years of system administration experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
  • DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I
  • IAT Level II certification
  • Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and maintaining systems within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment
  • Strong experience administering Linux-based servers, including system patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and implementation of security hardening best practices
  • Experience implementing and maintaining system security measures
  • Current understanding of security best practices for cloud and enterprise environments
  • Experience managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates, including certificate renewal, replacement, and troubleshooting certificate-related issues
  • Experience supporting security and compliance tools, including Nessus, UAM, CYBORGBUNNY, and LATTEART
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve operational issues across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with ElasticSearch or other distributed search/analytic engines
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • Experience with ArgoCD
  • IAT Level II certification
