Devops Specialist - Senior 2

Job Summary
Senior DevOps Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving secure, scalable Azure-based cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities. Lead or contribute to large-impact projects, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, develop Infrastructure as Code solutions, shape platform standards and DevOps best practices, and enhance observability, reliability, and security across teams. Role emphasizes collaboration with architecture and development teams, hands-on cloud engineering, and driving improvements in performance, cost efficiency, and operational health. Flexible hybrid or remote work with occasional in-office presence in Quebec. Requires a Bachelor's degree and substantial cloud/DevOps experience; bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, or related technical roles
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud architecture patterns
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automation workflows, and deployment strategies for complex systems
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation tools
- Good understanding of networking, cloud security, access control, and platform reliability principles
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools for production systems and cloud environments
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies is a strong asset
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, .NET, or similar technologies
- Ability to work autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and balance quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex initiatives and deliver meaningful improvements with broad organizational impact
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English; French is an asset
