Job Summary
DevOps Specialist to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for .NET and Java applications, primarily on AWS with Azure exposure. Build and manage IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi; optimize cloud infrastructure and security; own observability standards with Coralogix (and tools like Datadog, ELK, Prometheus/Grafana). Collaborate with developers and leaders to streamline delivery, participate in on-call incident responses, and drive reliability, performance, and security improvements. Drive trunk-based development, blue/green or canary deployments, and improve local development environments. Requires 5+ years in DevOps/Platform/SRE, strong AWS experience, Kubernetes/Helm expertise, CI/CD tooling proficiency (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps), IaC (Terraform), and scripting in Bash/Python/PowerShell. Additional bonus: Azure (AKS, DevOps), cloud security, PCI/SOC2/ISO 27001 familiarity, and cost-management practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (compute, networking, storage, security, and container orchestration)
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, specifically Atlassian Bitbucket Pipelines; experience with GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent is a plus
- Solid experience with IaC tools, particularly Terraform
- Expertise in Helm-based deployments for managing complex Kubernetes application lifecycles
- Proven track record in building and maintaining CIS-hardened AMIs and managing system security at the kernel level (packer)
- Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes / EKS)
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Experience supporting JVM-based (Java/Kotlin) and .NET applications in production
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (DNS, TLS, load balancing, VPNs)
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and branching strategies, with hands-on experience in Atlassian Bitbucket
- Experience with security and observability tools (Coralogix, Datadog, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK)
- Experience with incident response, on-call rotations, and post-mortem processes
- Ability to define and track SLOs, SLAs, and error budgets in collaboration with development teams
- Collaboration skills with .NET and Java engineers to improve development environments and tooling
- Knowledge of security best practices (shift-left security, CI security) and cost optimization (FinOps)
