DevOps Specialist (AWS/Azure Cloud)

Job Summary
Design quality infrastructure and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitOps workflows with Terraform, Opentofu, and FluxCD. Collaborate with development teams to automate building, deploying, and upgrading technologies while managing access controls and security compliance across environments. Diagnose and resolve production issues in distributed systems, monitor performance with Prometheus and Grafana, and optimize cloud costs for internal products including Connect, Plan, Analyse, and Lifeguide. Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and implement corrective measures to maintain system availability. Requires 5+ years of DevOps experience in AWS or Azure, strong Kubernetes cluster management skills, and bilingual proficiency in French and English. Full-time role in Montréal or Quebec City with 40-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology or College Diploma
- 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience in AWS or Azure
- Strong experience with Kubernetes cluster management and operations
- Proven ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Git, Docker, and scripting (Bash, Python, or GoLang)
- Solid understanding of security implementations
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Loki, Tempo or Prometheus) in Kubernetes environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex distributed systems
- Excellent knowledge of French and English (spoken and written)
- Strong sense of organization and prioritizing
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate, write and synthesize information
- Ability to multi-task in a rapid-paced environment
- Team spirit, tact, diplomacy, autonomy, rigor, and discipline
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure and Kubernetes)
- Relevant experience in product development
- Strong knowledge of Gitops/IaC tools (Opentofu, Terraform, FluxCD, ArgoCD)
