Job Summary
DevOps Engineer tasked with providing first-line support for customer implementations and assisting with deployments, installation, and administration; acts as initial customer contact and collaborates with DevOps team to advance customer solutions. Responsibilities include managing and monitoring systems, triaging and routing requests, troubleshooting applications or environment issues, maintaining performance records for monthly reviews, and creating training materials for new recruits. Requires active TS/SCI with polygraph, 3-7+ years in IT/DevOps, Windows environments, and ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Desired qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with AWS deployments, knowledge of Federal Acquisition Lifecycle or commercial contracting, and familiarity with Federal government contracting and program office processes.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph
- 3-7+ years' experience in development and operations, or related IT/operations field
- Knowledge of IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment for a matrixed organization
- Experience with Microsoft operating systems/Windows environments
- Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, development and operations or working in an IT department
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external customers
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to communicate technical details to a non-technical audience
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong team player that is willing to help other team members at all times
