Job Summary
Design and deliver trusted CI/CD release automation solutions for Payments platforms, focusing on Jenkins pipelines, shell scripting, and Spinnaker administration. Execute software development, technical troubleshooting, and incident triage to ensure end-to-end operational stability and reduce pipeline flakiness. Produce architecture artifacts, analyze CI/CD telemetry data, and embed security controls into pipelines for regulated workloads. Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve code quality and delivery speed while validating outputs against secure standards. This role supports the Corporate Investment Bank Payments Technology team in designing market-leading technology products within an agile environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools within the work environment
- demonstrated ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
- ability to guide peers on safe and effective usage within team practices
- Proficient in coding in one or more languages
- strong hands-on capability with Groovy and shell scripting (Bash) for automation
- Strong experience building and maintaining Jenkins CI solutions
- Experience with continuous delivery tooling, including Spinnaker
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud security fundamentals
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline
