Job Summary
DevOps Senior Engineer to join McDonald’s Global Technology in Mexico City. Build and mature a Cloud DevOps pipeline across AWS/Azure, integrate security into CI/CD (SAST/DAST/SCA), manage secrets with Azure Key Vault, support containerization via Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to the full agile lifecycle. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining secure CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins; automating cloud resource deployments; enforcing secure coding practices; mentoring junior engineers; and driving continuous improvement and reduction of technical debt in a global, remote-collaborative environment. Strong emphasis on automation, security tooling integration, and collaboration across distributed teams; requires 5+ years DevOps/DevSecOps experience, 3+ years with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins, and hands-on experience with AKS/Docker/Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/ARM), and C#/.NET.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps or DevSecOps Engineer
- 3+ Years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions
- 3+ Years supporting cloud native applications using Azure Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, and Service Bus
- Experience implementing Git flow, branching strategies, repository configurations (policies, security) and automation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM templates
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Proven knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm) with specific focus on C# and .NET
- Test automation with Unit Tests for including in pipeline
- Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational precision and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across remote teams and a global organization
