Job Summary
DevSecOps Engineer role focusing on embedding security into modern DevOps practices. Primary duties include designing and implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning), securing cloud infrastructure and containerized environments, implementing Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning and policy enforcement, developing automation to support security workflows, and collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams to maintain secure software delivery. Familiarity with SOC2, FedRAMP, or DoD security standards and experience with vulnerability management, security tooling, and secure SDLC practices are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or security engineering
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices
- Experience integrating security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA, Container vulnerability scanning
- Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and strong communication skills
- Remote work not applicable (onsite role in Ogden, UT)
- Active US citizenship and security clearance requirements
