Job Summary
DevOps Platform Engineer responsible for streamlining the software development lifecycle, implementing CI/CD to limit manual testing, and leveraging open-source tools, automation, and cloud resources to accelerate delivery. Role involves working within a dynamic, large team supporting a government program, using Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Terragrunt, and Python, designing and developing DevOps pipelines, and analyzing application behavior through code and log analysis. Requires 2+ years in DevOps/SRE, containerized deployments, AWS, Kubernetes, Agile, Terraform/Ansible, and a Bachelor’s degree; DoD 8570 IAT Level II/III certification within 30 days is required and security clearance is necessary. Also notes Booz Allen’s remote/hybrid/on-site work model and related policies.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in an Infrastructure, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineer role
- 2+ years of experience deploying containerized applications
- 2+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Agile methods and practices
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform, or Configuration as Code, including Ansible
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 30 days of hire date
