Job Summary
VP-level DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, building and operating cloud-native platforms and delivery pipelines in a regulated bank. Mentors teams to higher DevOps maturity, drives adoption of automation, reliability and operational practices, and supports AWS-based platforms with Kubernetes. Implements and supports GitOps workflows using Argo CD and GitLab, builds infrastructure with Terraform (IaC), and oversees Kubernetes networking, security and observability (Cilium, Grafana). Focuses on scalable, cost-aware platforms with auto-scaling approaches (e.g., Karpenter) and measures value delivery using DevOps and reliability metrics. Contributes to DevOps centre-of-excellence standards, policies, tooling and reference architectures. Role requires working in a 24/7 shift. Hours: 45. Locations include Bengaluru, Chennai and Gurugram, India.
