Job Summary

Manage and deploy updates to web-based knowledge repositories on AWS Cloud and OpenShift for Geospatial Intelligence clients. Troubleshoot and resolve system/operational incidents, perform root cause analysis, and assist Tier 2 with complex end-user problems. Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications, implement CI/CD pipelines, and optimize OpenShift clusters for high availability. Monitor system performance, ensure high availability across availability zones, and develop configuration documentation. Coordinate with mission partners to resolve integration issues and report hardware/software problems. Occasional after-hours work required for operational support.

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Willingness to submit to a government CI polygraph
  • Onsite location in St. Louis, MO
  • 3-5 years of experience in DevOps
  • Focus on OpenShift or another container orchestration platform
  • Knowledge of application deployment and data migration on AWS and OpenShift
  • Ability to design and operate high availability applications across availability zones and availability regions
  • Comprehension of computer technology and ability to quickly learn related concepts and new software products
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-starter with an ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Experience serving in an on-call role supporting emergency response to application or system issues on occasion
  • Must be able to work occasional after hours and/or weekend work to support operational issue resolution and maintenance windows

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related technical degree
  • Security+ Certification
  • OpenShift certification or similar certification
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
  • Experience configuring and deploying containerized applications on OpenShift using Kubernetes best practices
  • Familiar with implementing GitOps workflows for automated, declarative deployments
  • Strong working knowledge of Linux system administration in support of containerized environments
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK stack
  • Deep understanding of Agile, DevOps and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Good oral and written communications skills with experience in delivering to a Government customer
