Job Summary
Advanced Software Engineer sought to create signal processing, geolocation, and communication systems for challenging national security and defense problems. You will work in a multi-disciplinary R&D environment with electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists/engineers. Requires a minimum of 15 years in software engineering, proficiency in C++ and Python on Linux, CUDA GPU programming, and the ability to produce maintainable solutions with unit tests. A Top Secret security clearance and US citizenship are required. Travel up to 10% is expected. Hints of advanced computing workloads include High-Performance Computing, parallel and distributed computation, and GPU optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years experience in software engineering-related discipline
- Highly proficient in modern software engineering practices for testability and readability
- Highly proficient in using C++ and Python for engineering and scientific applications in Linux environments
- Highly proficient in algorithm development in GPUs and the use of the CUDA library
- Able to implement highly maintainable solutions complete with unit testing
- A Top Secret security clearance
- US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
- High-Performance Computing, including parallel and distributed computation
- DevOps Experience
- Kubernetes Experience
- Experience Optimizing CPU and GPU code for performance
- Numerical algorithms
- Visualization of large engineering data
- Networking experience
- Ability to travel up to 10%
