DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Own the operational health, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the AWS-based SaaS platform. Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, secure software delivery while implementing security controls aligned with SOC2 compliance requirements. Participate in incident response, business recovery planning, and root cause analysis to improve platform resilience. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues, then create runbooks and technical documentation to support team scalability. Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to embed security and automation into the delivery lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure role
  • Experience supporting production AWS workloads
  • Hands-on experience with core AWS services (EC2, ECS, S3, VPC, IAM, Lambda, RDS)
  • Familiarity with AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Inspector, Config, CloudTrail)
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles
  • Secure software development practices
  • Release management
  • CI/CD pipeline best practices
  • Strong hands-on Terraform experience
  • Experience with CloudFormation and infrastructure automation practices
  • Experience supporting containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration technologies
  • Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO, etc.)
  • Security controls in cloud environments
  • Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Infrastructure-as-code solutions
