Job Summary
Automate and optimize service deployments while integrating with enterprise authentication services. Architect, build, and maintain on-prem and cloud infrastructure, including autoscaling and cost optimization, across development, staging, and production environments. Administer systems, manage server logs for security incidents, and enforce best practices for security, reliability, and vulnerability testing. Maintain build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools and configuration management disciplines. Participate in SAFe and Scrum teams, present to operational readiness boards, and ensure routine maintenance tasks are completed timely. On-call support required. TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.
Required Qualifications
- Clearance Required: TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Poly.
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of years of experience and education.
- 8+ years of experience.
- Experience working with container images and platforms (Kubernetes/Docker/OpenShift)
- Strong understanding of DevOps and software/application development processes.
- Understanding of GitLab or other DevOps/Continuous Integration tools.
- Understanding of microservice design and architectural pattern best practices.
- Understanding of Python, Bash, and Shell scripting.
- Knowledge of network technologies, common infrastructure components, load balancers, firewalls, virtual and physical infrastructure design.
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess excellent time management skills and the drive to work unsupervised.
- Experience with deploying On-Prem infrastructure.
- US Citizenship Required.
- On-call support will be required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in building processes for deploying to a Kubernetes based environment using Gitlab and Helm.
- Understanding of access management and security groups (i.e. IAM, S3 bucket, SSH, VPN, etc.)
- Ability to write and use unit and functional testing.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
