DevOps Engineer / Senior DevOps Engineer (IGT1)

Job Summary
Triage, investigate, and resolve DevOps tickets within defined SLAs to minimize downtime, while identifying recurring patterns to propose automated solutions. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, or GitHub Actions, and utilize Chef for server provisioning and configuration management. Monitor AWS resources and application performance, implementing optimizations as needed, and actively participate in code peer reviews with senior engineers. Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including runbooks and SOPs, while assisting on infrastructure project tasks and deployments. Requires 2–4 years of DevOps experience, strong AWS knowledge, and hybrid work flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2– 4 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Systems Operations role
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools, such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, GitHub, or GitHub Actions
- Working knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems administration
- Basic scripting skills in languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate routine tasks
- Solid working knowledge in AWS services (such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and IAM), with secondary exposure or foundational knowledge of Azure
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Chef
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset suited for Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Having a basic understanding or exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and monitoring or observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Alloy, or CloudWatch)
