Job Summary
Architect and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or ArgoCD to automate testing, building, and deployment. Provision, configure, and manage cloud environments on AWS, Azure, GCP, or Digital Ocean while implementing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation. Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes, including Helm chart deployments and cluster auto-scaling. Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or Splunk to ensure system reliability. Enforce DevSecOps best practices by integrating security into the development lifecycle, managing secrets, and implementing IAM, SSL/TLS, and firewall policies. Design and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to ensure business continuity. Collaborate with software developers, QA engineers, and product managers to optimize software delivery pipelines and reduce time-to-market. Manage Linux-based systems, networks, DNS, load balancing, and VPNs to ensure secure and efficient connectivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Proven experience (3–5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role
- Advanced proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in provisioning, scaling, and optimizing resources
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Kustomize
- Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, CircleCI, or ArgoCD
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or CloudFormation
- Deep understanding of monitoring and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic)
- Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go
- Solid background in Linux system administration, networking (DNS, VPCs, VPNs, firewalls), and load balancing
- Experience managing databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) in cloud environments
- Strong understanding of security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, encryption, and compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to design and implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems in production environments
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams

- Experience with Advanced Tooling: Advanced observability solutions (OpenTelemetry, Jaeger)
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps culture across the organization
- Strong business acumen to align infrastructure solutions with company objectives
- Adaptability in fast-paced, high-growth environments
