Job Summary
Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure platforms using modern IaC practices while supporting CI/CD pipelines for secure software deployments. Build and operate container orchestration environments on EKS/K8S, writing automation scripts to reduce toil and enhance system reliability. Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to proactively identify issues and facilitate efficient troubleshooting. Collaborate with software development and systems integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, participating in on-call rotations and incident response. Work with security teams to ensure platform compliance and contribute to internal developer experience initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer, system administrator, or software engineer
- Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Shell, Go, or Ruby
- Hands-on exposure to containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Harness.io, ArgoCD)
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Exposure to infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Crossplane, Pulumi, or CDK)
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- A willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow your skills with support from senior engineers
- This role requires 4-5 days per week in the office
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time

Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) is a plus
