Job Summary
DevOps Engineer in RMDC Platform Operations responsible for hands-on DevOps support in a 24×7 RMDC environment, including incident triage, first-response actions for alerts, RCA participation, and reliability improvement. Key duties include supporting containerised services (Docker-based), ensuring high availability of production systems, managing PostgreSQL and time-series databases (TimescaleDB/InfluxDB), building Grafana dashboards, and developing automation with Bash and Python. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible) is required, along with strong Linux administration and monitoring skills. Familiarity with GraphQL/REST-based data platforms and operational runbooks is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Operations
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- PostgreSQL operational experience (required)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform / Ansible)
- Docker container experience
- Bash and Python scripting skills
- Experience supporting 24×7 production environments
