Job Summary
DevOps Engineer based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for a Data Analytics/BI client. Responsibilities include developing Python-based automation tools, daily DevOps tasks, managing services on Kubernetes, creating resources in GCP and AWS using IaC, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, setting up monitoring/alerting, deploying dashboards and alert policies with Terraform, and collecting application performance metrics from modern and legacy apps.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, developing in Python
- 2+ years working with Kubernetes
- 2+ years working with Terraform
- 2+ years working with Docker
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and AWS services (Google Stackdriver, Google App Engine, GKE)
- Understanding SLAs, RED, and USE frameworks
