Job Summary
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting rapid deployment across robotics, embedded, and on-premise systems. Containerize workloads using Docker and Orbstack while developing automated build, test, and release pipelines that integrate hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop validation stages. Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability for deployed robotic fleets and manage local networking infrastructure including switches, VLANs, and firewalls. Respond to infrastructure incidents, conduct post-mortems, and drive security best practices such as secrets management and vulnerability scanning. Administer Linux systems and improve developer tooling to maximize engineering velocity. Work in-person at Molg HQ in Sterling, VA as a full-time role requiring 5+ years of DevOps experience and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industry experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production infrastructure
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar—including pipeline design, secrets management, and artifact management
- Strong experience with containerization using Docker and Docker Compose—building, deploying, and managing containers across on-premise environments
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent) managing on-premise servers and networked systems
- Solid scripting and automation skills in Python and/or Bash
- Experience administering Linux systems in a production environment—server provisioning, hardening, storage, and maintenance
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or similar)
- Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and local area network administration
- Ability to work in-person at Molg HQ in Sterling, VA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting embedded or robotics systems, edge deployments, or industrial environments is a strong plus
