Job Summary
DevOps Engineer to support the development, integration, and operational deployment of mission-critical capabilities for Space Domain Awareness and national security space operations. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining Kubernetes environments (EKS, RKE), implementing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform and Ansible, developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, integrating security and static code analysis tools into DevOps pipelines, supporting cloud deployments, collaborating with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation workflows, troubleshooting infrastructure and networking issues, and monitoring deployment reliability and performance. Requires active TS/SCI clearance, U.S. citizenship, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), 4+ years of relevant experience, familiarity with Git/GitLab/Jenkins, Terraform/Ansible, Linux, and AWS, plus travel (~3 days per month). Preferred: Security+ or IAT 2, Helm, REST APIs, microservices, Fortify/SonarQube, production support experience, and knowledge of web services and SQL databases.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (additional experience may substitute for a degree)
- 4+ years of DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience
- Experience with Git or other source control tools
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience working with Linux systems (RedHat or Amazon Linux preferred)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies and Kubernetes
- Understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Must be able to travel 3 days out of the month
