DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Design, support, and maintain enterprise data platforms on RedHat, .NET Core, and Microsoft Fabric across Dev, Test, and Production environments. Own the end-to-end lifecycle of these services, managing automated GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and secure-by-design deployment gates. Provide proactive monitoring for Fabric pipelines, Azure dependencies, and capacity utilization while enforcing security standards via Azure Key Vault and RBAC. Act as the primary interface for internal data and BI teams, collaborating with infrastructure and security groups to align platform resilience, performance, and cost with enterprise expectations. Work a hybrid schedule of three days in the Newcastle office.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Redhat management
  • Strong experience with GitHub including Actions, PR workflows and branching strategies
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Entra ID, Key Vault and Azure Monitor
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code
  • Understanding of CI/CD, automation and DevOps principles
  • Experience managing data pipelines and platform operations
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting and incident management
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • It is a Hybrid role 3days in Newcastle upon Tyne office
