Job Summary
DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure, reliable, and highly automated software platforms across development, test, and production. Key duties include creating and supporting CI/CD pipelines, IaC/CaC-driven infrastructure, automated deployments, and integrated security, monitoring, logging, and alerting. The role involves collaboration with software, systems, security, and operations teams, hands-on work with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and ensuring platform reliability and compliance with engineering and security standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps experience; Australian citizenship and active TSPV clearance (with ITAR considerations) may be required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience and training
- Proven experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation tooling
- Experience supporting deployments, operational platforms, and secure development/deployment practices
- Familiarity with Agile or Kanban delivery methodologies and collaborative multidisciplinary team environments
- Exposure to containerisation technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
