Job Summary
DevOps Engineer III responsible for building automated, scalable delivery pipelines and infrastructure as code across multiple environments in Teladoc Health. Will collaborate with software developers, QA, and systems engineers to automate deployment, monitoring, and operations, participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, and drive data-driven optimization of CI/CD, alerting, and performance SLAs. Key focus areas include automated provisioning and deployment, reliable and secure services, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce toil while maintaining high productivity. Required skills include Kubernetes and container management, cloud-based environments (Azure preferred), automation scripting, monitoring/alerting toolchains (e.g., New Relic, Datadog, Grafana), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bamboo CI, Docker), and strong English communication for distributed teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or a related field
- Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud-based environments
- Ability to write code, including automation scripting and diagnostics/debugging support
- Experience building and maintaining alerting, monitoring, and metrics systems
- Experience with continuous integration, testing, and deployment pipelines
- Experience with tools and workflows that support the software development lifecycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud environments (preferred)
