Job Summary
Research, prototype, and deliver novel solutions to client challenges by applying technical knowledge to automate infrastructure and processes for the development team. Write continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery. Take part in technical reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support fault fixing and maintenance tasks. Document practices, share knowledge, and stay current with emerging technologies. This Junior or DevOps Engineer role requires an active or recently active SC or DV security clearance and on-site presence up to four days per week. You will work within an agile delivery team at Gemba Advantage, designing secure, cloud-native platforms for critical public-sector organizations across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- active or recently active SC or DV security clearance
- Willingness and eligibility to obtain DV clearance
- Willingness to work on-site up to 4 days per week
- Basic competence with programming/scripting languages
- Knowledge of cloud technologies
- Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
- Knowledge of cloud-native tech (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Experience with databases
- Experience with APIs
- Strong information security focus
