Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code to support software delivery and production operations. Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines, observability solutions, and operational documentation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements and enhance system reliability. Investigate production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements to ensure secure, compliant, and scalable delivery of real-time applications for optical navigation and surgical hardware. Participate in Agile ceremonies, verification and validation activities, and disaster recovery initiatives to uphold regulatory standards in this medical device environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering roles
- Experience working with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and infrastructure automation practices
- Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows
- Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and distributed applications
- Understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud architecture fundamentals
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile software development environments
- Some flexibility may be required to support releases, deployments, or critical production issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Fargate, CloudFront, S3, WAF, RDS, ECR, GuardDuty, CloudTrail and VPC
- Experience operating production workloads within containerized environments
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Pulumi, Terraform, or CloudFormation
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity with the Kotlin DSL
- Experience implementing observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry, or related tooling
- Experience with SIEM tooling such as CrowdStrike Falcon and CSPM tooling such as WIZ
- Experience with identity and authentication platforms such as Azure AD B2C, Entra ID, Auth0, Okta, or similar solutions
- Understanding of SRE concepts including SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and operational metrics
- Experience working in regulated, safety-critical software and regulated environments
- Experience with comparable cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, or observability platforms
