Job Summary
Manage the CI/CD pipeline using GitLab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker while ensuring seamless application deployment within the cloud environment. Monitor system logs, performance, and error metrics to maintain readiness, resolve production issues including hotfix deployments, and implement automation scripts for provisioning and configuration. Support infrastructure-as-code initiatives with Terraform, manage encryption keys in AWS KMS, and apply patches to ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53 standards. Collaborate with contractors and stakeholders to integrate new systems and provide technical support to end users. Maintain documentation on CI/CD operations and procedures. This role enhances system performance and security for a federal client's large-scale cloud environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role
- Proven track record of managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-hosted systems
- Proficiency in Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, GitLab, and Terraform
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation
- Experience monitoring system performance and applying security best practices
- Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with at least three years of continuous residency in the United States
- Ability to pass a federal background check
