Job Summary
DevOps Engineer position in Chantilly, VA focused on designing and implementing CI/CD processes, creating Docker images, and configuring/maintaining container infrastructure. Responsibilities include understanding customer/operational requirements and implementing new functionality into software products, and effectively documenting and communicating highly technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Required to hold a Bachelor's degree and a Top Secret security clearance with polygraph eligibility, with 5+ years of experience, and to be proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, plus the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with full scope polygraph or full scope eligible
- Experience with software development lifecycle and use of associated tools
- Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with the CI/CD pipeline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organization, decision making, and verbal and written communication skills
- High level of self-initiative and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in small team settings to solve complex problems
