Job Summary
Design and manage secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Implement CI/CD enablement, system hardening, backup strategies, and scaling policies while embedding security controls throughout the delivery lifecycle. Troubleshoot production infrastructure and distributed systems, leveraging Kafka and MongoDB for event-driven operations and database management. Maintain robust logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks to ensure operational reliability and rapid incident response. This role is critical to ensuring CASABOT systems remain secure, reliable, and production-ready within fast-moving product environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS
- Solid experience with containers and Docker
- Strong practical experience with Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Strong background in Linux administration
- Experience implementing infrastructure and platform security controls
- Experience setting up or managing Kafka
- Experience with MongoDB operations, backups, and performance management
- Experience designing and maintaining database backup and restore strategies
- Knowledge of auto-scaling, load handling, and production reliability practices
- Strong understanding of networking, access control, secrets management, and system hardening
- Experience troubleshooting production infrastructure and distributed systems
- Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks
- Strong documentation and incident response discipline
- Good communication skills and ability to work closely with engineering teams
- Experience with DevSecOps practices in fast-moving product environments
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, container scanning, and cloud security monitoring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Computer Engineering, or a related field
