Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based applications using Azure and .NET while building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Take full ownership of applications to ensure stability, performance, security, and compliance, and monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve production systems. Deliver features collaboratively within a Scrum team, aligned with sprint goals, and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into effective solutions. Proactively engage stakeholders to clarify functional and non-functional requirements, particularly in financial and risk-driven environments. This role requires 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer and/or DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and banking, financial services, or risk & finance domains. The position is full-time in a collaborative, high-performing team delivering end-to-end solutions within a critical Risk & Finance technology environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a .NET Developer and/or DevOps Engineer
- Proven experience within banking, financial services, or risk & finance domains (required)
- Solid understanding of designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience in international environments
- English & Dutch
- Proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented attitude
- Azure Cloud (App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Azure Active Directory)
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, YAML, Azure CLI
- Git version control
- .NET Core / .NET 5+
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC & Web API
- REST APIs, Swagger
- Entity Framework (or similar ORM)
- OOP principles, SOLID, DDD, and design patterns
- SQL and relational databases
- OAuth, Azure App Registrations
- Unit testing, TDD, and mocking frameworks
- JavaScript / TypeScript
Desired Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure (certification is a plus)
- Experience with frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue, Blazor)
- Microservices architecture
- NoSQL databases (e.g. Cosmos DB, Neo4j)
- Knowledge of regulatory, compliance, or risk systems within financial institutions
