Job Summary
Design, implement, and manage Google Cloud Platform infrastructure ensuring scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments while implementing Infrastructure as Code to automate environment setup. Establish observability frameworks for monitoring, logging, and alerting, and collaborate with Security to enforce least privilege and Zero Trust principles. Troubleshoot system performance and optimize for high availability and disaster recovery readiness. Contribute to DevOps best practices and mentor engineers on automation and reliability. Requires proven GCP expertise, Terraform or Pulumi skills, and strong scripting experience. Must have excellent English proficiency and availability to travel to Australia for 2–3 months.
Required Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) like Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Build, IAM, VPC, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Run
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi)
- Solid scripting/automation experience
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
- Strong knowledge of networking, cloud security (IAM, firewalls, service accounts), and high availability architecture
- Experience with CI/CD systems (CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, GitLab CI, etc)
- Familiarity with monitoring and alerting (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar)
- Excellent English proficiency
- Availability to travel to Australia for 2–3 months
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with Zero Trust networking and DevSecOps practices
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration systems such as Temporal, Cadence, or Airflow
- Previous exposure to regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, or equivalent compliance frameworks)
- Familiarity with modern edge security practices, including Zero Trust networking, service meshes, and mTLS
