DevOps Engineer (AI, GitLab)

Design and maintain AI infrastructure by setting up, configuring, and managing cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments for compute, storage, networking, and GPU resources. Automate deployment pipelines by building and maintaining CI/CD and MLOps pipelines for code, data workflows, model training, testing, and deployment. Manage containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes to package, deploy, and scale AI applications reliably. Support model operationalisation by enabling transitions from development to production with versioning and traceability. Monitor systems and model services through logging, alerting, and performance tracking for availability and latency. Ensure reliability and scalability by optimizing infrastructure and deployment processes. Implement security and compliance controls for access management, secrets handling, and data protection. Manage environments and configuration using Infrastructure as Code to standardize development, test, and production settings. Collaborate with data scientists, AI engineers, and business teams to support AI solution delivery. Troubleshoot incidents and improve operational efficiency. Requires advanced GitLab and Kubernetes expertise, cloud service knowledge, and EU citizenship.
