Job Summary
DevOps Engineer responsible for automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing and managing containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, and overseeing cloud-based systems on AWS and Azure. Focus areas include monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Collaborates with development, testing, and operations teams to promote continuous improvement, with strong scripting/programming skills (Python, Java, Ruby, or Go) and proficiency in automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and Git for source control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered as an alternative.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, Java, Ruby, or Go
- At least 2 years of experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Prometheus and ELK stack
- Knowledge of Git
- Understanding of networking, security, and database management
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work under pressure
