Job Summary
DevOps Engineer responsible for automating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing and managing Docker and Kubernetes based containerization, and overseeing cloud management across AWS/Azure. Role emphasizes monitoring/troubleshooting for high availability, collaboration with development/testing/operations teams, and strong focus on automation, scripting (Python/Java/Ruby/Go), and source control (Git). Requires 3+ years in programming, 2+ years with automation tools (Ansible/Puppet/Chef), and cloud experience; environment is remote-first with global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Equivalent practical experience may be considered as an alternative.
- Minimum of 3 years experience and demonstrated proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Python, Java, Ruby, or Go
- At least 2 years of experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK stack
- Knowledge of Git and source control practices
- Understanding of networking, security, and database management
- Strong collaboration and English communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
