Job Summary
Design, provision, and manage AWS infrastructure including VPCs, subnets, security groups, IAM policies, EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, S3, Route 53, CloudFront, and multi-account environments using the AWS Well-Architected Framework. Develop, maintain, and refactor Terraform modules, manage workspaces and remote state backends, and enforce IaC standards with drift detection and remediation workflows. Author and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections, integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Ansible Vault for secure secrets management. Operate and administer Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA) clusters, perform upgrades and scaling, and enforce RBAC controls, network policies, and security context constraints. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application delivery, implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, and integrate security scanning tools. Embed security controls throughout the infrastructure lifecycle, manage secrets, enforce least-privilege access, and support vulnerability management and incident response. Build and maintain observability solutions using AWS CloudWatch, define SLOs and SLIs, and lead root cause investigations. Produce operational documentation including runbooks and architectural decision records.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience working with containerized and non-containerized workloads
- Strong expertise designing and building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Advanced experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automation
- Deep AWS infrastructure engineering experience
- Experience operating Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS (ROSA)
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience supporting complex Linux environments including CentOS, Ubuntu, and CoreOS
- Knowledge of container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building and integrating APIs
- Knowledge of web architecture, security standards, and industry best practices
- Experience supporting mobile device management environments
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with web technologies such as LAMP, Drupal, and Elasticsearch
- Experience using development and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Maven, Jenkins
- Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, and Node.js
- Experience with version control and automation tools such as Git, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet
