Job Summary
DevOps Engineer with 4–6 years of experience focusing on Kubernetes administration, containerized deployments, and CI/CD automation; also contributes to microservices development in Python and/or TypeScript during lean periods. Responsibilities include deploying, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes clusters and resources (Deployments, Services, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, StatefulSets), monitoring cluster health and performance, troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, automating deployments via CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with development teams to optimize workloads, applying security best practices, and implementing robust observability with logging/monitoring tools. In addition, candidates will design, develop, and maintain microservices using Python and/or TypeScript, build RESTful APIs, participate in code reviews, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of overall software engineering experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) administration and deployment
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies
- Good understanding of Microservices Architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with source control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar
- Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and service discovery
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Development experience using Python and/or TypeScript
