Job Summary
Design and maintain infrastructure and application automation solutions using Ansible, including playbooks, roles, inventories, and reusable frameworks. Implement Git-based development workflows and CI/CD integration to support provisioning, deployment, and operational activities. Develop Python and Shell scripts for automation logic, while integrating solutions with orchestration platforms like Rundeck, Ansible Tower, AWX, and Jenkins. Troubleshoot automation failures, optimize reliability and performance, and ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance standards. Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Operations teams to drive automation initiatives and maintain technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering environments
- Strong hands-on expertise in Ansible, including playbook development, roles, inventories, and automation frameworks
- Proficiency in Python scripting and Shell scripting for automation and operational tasks
- Experience implementing and managing Git-based workflows using GitHub or GitLab
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Azure CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with orchestration and scheduling tools such as Rundeck, Ansible Tower, AWX, or Jenkins
- Strong knowledge of YAML configuration management and Jinja2 templating
- Experience developing scalable, reusable, and maintainable automation solutions
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis capabilities
- Understanding of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps best practices
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within enterprise-scale technology environments
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts is highly desirable
