Job Summary
Configure and maintain Azure infrastructure including Azure AD, MongoDB instances, and Azure Functions while managing Dev, Test, and Production environments. Ensure platform portability across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, and administer Azure Virtual Desktop environments for client configurations. Support customer deployments, identify system improvements and risks, and collaborate with engineering teams on scaling strategies. Set up and operationalize LLMs and MCP-based services. Work remotely from anywhere in South Africa with a 25-day annual leave package, supporting a platform for materials information and certification used in space, defense, automotive, and medical device markets.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure (essential)
- Knowledge of MongoDB and serverless architecture (Azure Functions)
- DevOps mindset with problem-solving and proactive improvement focus
- Ability to engage with clients and support technical implementations
- Must have legal rights to work
- Must be available for Remote working - Anywhere in South Africa
- Must be available for 8 am - 4 pm UK time
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with multi-cloud environments - Nice To Have (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with LLMs, MCP frameworks, or AI integrations
- Python or scripting experience
- Exposure to virtual desktop environments (AVD)
