Job Summary
End-to-end technical ownership of scanners, printers, logistics devices and (future) robotics controlled by the WMS & WCS. You act as the conductor and regisseur, coordinating from application to hardware and everything in between to ensure reliable operation in current and future warehouse operations. You’ll function as a generalist with the ability to identify where a problem sits and who is needed to solve it, drive structural improvements, and help prepare the organization for further mechanisation and robotisation of logistics. Responsibilities include overseeing releases and pilots, serving as the technical point of contact for suppliers and internal teams, and aligning across applications, devices, networks, and external partners to manage the end-to-end chain.
Required Qualifications
- HBO/WO work- and thinking level in IT or technical direction
- Experience in a logistics or operational IT environment (warehouse, production, OT/IT cross-field)
- Broad technical knowledge of applications and integrations, scanners and printers, device configurations, networks and infrastructure (high-level), SaaS solutions and external suppliers
- Ability to locate causes without being a specialist in every area
- Clear communication and ability to maintain overview under pressure
- Proactive and initiative to implement improvements
