Job Summary
Front-End Team Lead for the CMS frontend of meilleurtaux.com, responsible for the technical and people leadership of the frontend team (5 developers) within an Agile framework. Defines vision and quality standards, mentors developers, and remains hands-on on key features. Partners with Product Management and Design, architects frontend solutions, enforces code quality and tooling (SonarCloud, Dependabot), and drives performance optimizations, accessibility, and SEO. Responsibilities include designing frontend architecture, implementing new features from Figma, integrating pages via Joomla CMS, and exploring AI-assisted automation workflows to streamline code generation while maintaining performance (Core Web Vitals) and user experience. Requires strong leadership, a track record of frontend excellence, and the ability to guide the team through technical challenges and architectural decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of frontend development experience
- Proven experience leading a team (mentoring/management)
- Strong frontend skills with focus on performance and technical SEO
- Experience with Joomla/PHP is a plus
- Proficiency in JavaScript/React/TypeScript/CSS, ES2022+
- Experience translating Figma designs into accessible, optimized HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and Core Web Vitals
- Ability to participate in Agile ceremonies and drive architectural decisions
- Hands-on as a developer while guiding the team
