Job Summary
Design, build, and enhance the SQL projection broker in the Data Access Layer for Leto deposits, ensuring high performance and scalability. Develop and maintain real-time reporting infrastructure that captures upstream messages, persists them to NFS storage, and structures attributes into database tables for downstream reporting. Enhance and support multiple regulatory and business reports, translating requirements into relational queries while optimizing stored procedures and SQL performance. Implement efficient testing automation for Java, Scala, and Python processes within an Agile Scrum environment. Collaborate with globally distributed business owners and operations partners to define project requirements and deliver scalable database components for risk and analytics reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Local to Montreal
- Currently authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis
- Strong in Java/Scala or other programming languages
- 7 years or more of relevant experience
- Strong with scripting language such as Python
- Strong with Unix / K-Shell environments
- Experienced in Agile development process
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with lifecycle of a trade and flows of data in an investment banking operation
- Knowledge on relational databases
