Job Summary
Senior Platform Engineer responsible for designing and migrating Kubernetes infrastructure to AWS, transforming manual processes into automated, secure CI/CD pipelines, and developing tooling in Python or Go. You will mentor peers, collaborate with development teams to promote a DevSecOps culture focused on the developer experience, and leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate infrastructure analysis and incident response while ensuring total observability. The role requires deep AWS/Kubernetes expertise, IaC with Terraform, GitOps with ArgoCD, strong Linux/networking skills, and effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders. Stack includes Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, AWS, Terraform, Helm, GitLab, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Python, Node.js, GoLang, and Ubuntu.
Required Qualifications
- Deep expertise in AWS and Kubernetes with migrations
- Terraform IaC
- GitOps tools like ArgoCD for production deployments
- Linux systems and networking knowledge for OS/traffic troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills and ability to mentor engineers
- Experience replacing manual tasks with automated workflows using AI tools (evaluating AI suggestions)
