Job Summary
Build and maintain complex connectors and adapters linking client systems to the BEEM platform, writing clean, tested, and documented code published through rigorous Git workflows. Work autonomously within AWS infrastructure to handle networking and security challenges while actively contributing to the platform's evolution as client needs grow. Own technical documentation for integrations and architectural decisions, occasionally interacting with external technical teams to clarify systems or validate approaches. This permanent full-time hybrid role requires minimum two days per week in the office in Montreal, with a competitive salary and benefits including personal MacBook, annual training budget, and flexible remote work.
Required Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on experience in software development or data integration
- Proficiency in at least one back end programming language (Python strongly preferred)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or another cloud environment
- Autonomy in a rigorous Git and code review workflow
- Solid networking and connection security fundamentals
- Bilingual FR/EN communication
- Minimum 2 days per week in the office
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at a dev shop or in a multi-client environment
- Knowledge of dbt or data transformation tools
- Experience with complex API integrations (REST, SOAP, varied formats)
- Interest in data or applied generative AI
- Comfortable interacting with external technical teams
- You move fast and take initiative without being asked
