Job Summary
Deploy the RTINGS.com mobile MVP for iOS and Android using Hotwire Native, ensuring native experiences that integrate effectively with the existing Ruby on Rails and Turbo web platform. Design native screens and integration components when web experiences fall short, while collaborating closely with product and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile features. Manage App Store and Google Play Store publishing, monitor production issues, and continuously improve stability, performance, and user experience. Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing delivery speed with long-term maintainability. This role supports the mission of helping consumers make informed purchasing decisions through trusted product reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Baccalauréat en génie informatique, en génie logiciel, en informatique ou dans un domaine équivalent
- De 3 à 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle en développement Ruby on Rails, full-stack ou mobile
- Expérience professionnelle avec Ruby on Rails, particulièrement Hotwire (Turbo et Stimulus), obligatoire
- Expérience avec Hotwire Native (anciennement Turbo Native), ou excellente capacité à maîtriser rapidement cette technologie, fortement souhaitée
- Expérience en développement d'applications natives iOS et/ou Android (Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), permettant de développer des composants d'intégration natifs (bridge components) et des fonctionnalités propres aux plateformes
- Capacité d'apprentissage rapide et excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes
- Maîtrise de l'anglais
Desired Qualifications
- Expérience avec Hotwire Native (anciennement Turbo Native), ou excellente capacité à maîtriser rapidement cette technologie, fortement souhaitée
- Une expérience en publication et en maintenance d'applications sur l'App Store d'Apple et le Google Play Store un atout
- Une expérience d'intégration de SDK tiers et de services propres aux plateformes mobiles (p. ex. notifications push, authentification, analytique) un atout
- Une expérience avec GraphQL un atout
