Job Summary
Provide training and guidance to residents with intellectual disabilities, assisting in life skills such as personal care, daily living, vocational abilities, and community integration. Support the resident through active treatment programs, document progress, and implement behavior intervention plans as outlined in Individual Habilitation Plans and Behavior Intervention Plans; work as part of a care team to foster residents’ independence and growth. The role emphasizes compassionate, professional care, ongoing training, and contributing to a supportive residential environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education
- Must be a licensed Care Aide in accordance with laws of this state
