Job Summary
Conduct vocational activities and transitional support for individuals with developmental disabilities in a non-residential setting. Implement training plans, perform task analysis, and monitor social and personal behavioral intervention programs while attending Individual Service Plans meetings. Ensure individual safety, confidentiality, and compliance with state/federal regulations by documenting goals, reporting medical concerns immediately, and following emergency behavior management techniques. Maintain a clean, secure environment through proper use of equipment and infection control protocols. Sign all documentation accurately and complete required in-service training to meet regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Illinois driver's license
- Age 23 or older
- Ability to read and comprehend English at an 8th grade level
- Must be a DSP, certified in CPR/First Aid
- Must be on the Health Care Worker Registry OR enroll in company provided courses, achieve passing scores and become certified
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a drug screen
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Able to stand daily
- Able to bend
- Able to lift
