Job Summary
Oversee daily operations of a multi-disciplinary team of developmental therapists, including Speech, Occupational, Physical, and Music Therapists, while addressing real-time issues such as space modifications, equipment procurement, and scheduling conflicts. Maintain on-site leadership presence during majority of operating hours, manage team productivity, documentation efficiency, and wait lists, and conduct annual performance reviews and merit recommendations. Lead and mentor team members across clinical matters, ensuring consistency of the Cortica Care Model through direct support in sessions and regular meetings. Collaborate with site leadership on operational excellence and may serve as the hiring manager for new DT candidates, interviewing and onboarding them in alignment with company policies. Act as a professional representative of the DT program to families and colleagues, adhering to all regulatory standards including HIPAA and clinical ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or doctorate in related field
- Licensed to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Music Therapist or Physical Therapist in the State of California
- 3 years of experience as a clinician
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information
- Experience with pediatric population, including individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
